Valdez - Cordova
The Valdez-Cordova Census Area on Prince
William Sound also includes the communities of Copper
Center, Glennallen, Paxon, and Chitina. The Alaska Pipeline,
which brings oil from Prudhoe Bay on the north coast,
ends in the port of Valdez. In addition to oil and shipping,
fishing and tourism are the major occupations.
