Mat Su

The Matanuska-Susitna Borough, the third largest in the state by both population and area, is the fastest growing region of the state. Proximity to Anchorage and the road system are major reasons for this growth. Mat-Su also supports a significant amount of agriculture. Most residents live along the road linking Willow and Sutton. The only incorporated cities in the borough are Palmer, Wasilla, and Houston.
